MALLS

If you want to have a good shopping day, in Algarve we give you three options, including strolling through its pedestrian streets, and fall in love in front of its shop windows. Let yourself be carried away by the aroma of the typical pastry shops and the best freshly made regional sweets.

Walk through Rua Direita, in Portimão, and be surprised by its stores. You can also go out to discover Lagos and its multi-branched streets.. In Faro you will find Rua de Santo António, a true open-air mall. In the streets of Vila Real de Santo António you have everything you need for your home, from blankets and bath towels, even tablecloths and sheets. In the riverside markets of Olhão you can enjoy the best seafood. And finally in Loulé you will find a rich offer of traditional craft shops.

MARKETS AND FAIRS IN THE ALGARVE

The one who seeks, find. Find valuable items, memories of history, tasty products, curious goods and even friends. Find even what you never thought to buy or imagined to find. This is what happens in the markets, markets, fairs, velharias or samples from the Algarve. You just have to walk through those streets of stalls, removable every week or every month, to end up finding something you were looking for and if you weren't, it doesn't matter. For us, going to markets means more than having fun, a fun day even without buying, but I recognize that it is difficult to resist such attractive and varied genre. We tell you which ones, where, when and how are the Algarve markets.

Bags with soda cans, Balsa's chutney, Alcoutim artisan bread, the homemade sweets of Sao Brás de Alportel, freshly cooked petiscos, furniture made with cardboard, vases with car tires, wicker baskets, a Paul Anka record, an old Colacao can, Paula's organic oranges, jams with piri-piri, Algarve honey, an old-fashioned mink coat or even a gypsy outfit, why not? With all this and much more you will find in the markets.
